After the two games, Head coach Danny Shouse was pleased with how his team played. "I was pleased how we played overall, but we are not hitting how we are capable of yet. We struggled a bit in the field, but we've only been outside for two days so I really can't complain. I think we will be better this year than last year even though we lost two key players....We've gained that and more back through rising players and our off season workouts."
The Blacksburg Bruins have their third and final scrimmage of the pre-season on Wednesday, March 12th @ Patrick Henry. The Bruins kick off their season on March 19th vs. Giles @ home.
