Giles' Dylan Raymond was 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored including a home run and Trever Dudding was 2 for 4 with 3 rbi's to lead Giles to the win.  Giles starting pitcher Tyler Nelson went the distance to get the win scattering 8 hits and striking out 4.

Offensively, BHS was led by Casey Herman and John Hamborsky with 2 hits each.

Blacsksburg Head Coach Jim Shockely said after the game, " Give Giles credit.  They played well defensively and got timely hits.  We, on the other hand, uncharacteristically had 4 errors  left 12 men on base, and had some base running mistakes..  We had the bases loaded in the first and did not score, took a 2-0 lead in the 3rd, loaded the bases again and could not break it open.  We are a lot better than we showed today.  Our kids are working hard and we will learn from this."

With the loss, the Bruins are now 4-4 on the season.  They host Patrick Henry on Thursday for the second time in a week.
