Blacksburg Baseball Association

Each spring the Blacksburg Baseball Association's Dixie Baseball franchises provide the opportunity for players to play against other Dixie teams in the area. The age divisions, with registration fees, and registration deadlines, are given below.

Age on April 30, 2010 determines child's participation age and division.

All players must register, and pay the registration fee. To register, print out the registration form (see links at left), fill it out, and mail it, along with a check for the registration fee, to BBA, 2900 Tall Oaks Dr, Blacksburg VA 24060. Make the check payable to "Blacksburg Baseball Association." Please, no cash. Registration is by mail only; there will be no "in person" registration session. There is a $25 late fee. No refunds.

The Blacksburg Baseball Association is a self-funded organization and not supported by any tax payer money. $40 of each registration fee goes towards a high end uniform. The jersey is a two button jersey with the player's last name on the back (and number) and a sewn on Dixie patch. Players also receive a fitted hat with embroidery on front and back. Players get to keep their uniform. The remaining portion of the players fee ($60 in kid pitch and $35 in CP) helps cover Dixie National & State fees, insurance policies, team equipment, certified umpires, and field rentals to the town of Blacksburg. Corporate sponsors are accepted as a means to bridge the gap between the players fee's and actual league costs.

Players of all ability accepted. There are no "tryouts."
