2007 Blacksburg Varsity Baseball Team Earns Trip to Regionals

Congratulations to the 2007 Blacksburg High School Varsity Baseball Team as they earn a trip to the Region III tournament. Blacksburg beat Salem 4-1 to earn the coveted regional berth. Despite losing their number one pitcher, Walker Perkovich, early in the season, the team finished 13-9 in the very tough River Ridge District. Blacksburg graduates just two senior starters and should be poised for a great season in 2008.
