Minors All-Star Team and Declares Friday, August 3, 2007, as "Blacksburg Baseball Association Day"
Firday, August 3, 2007, Blacksburg, VA --- The 9-10 Dixie Youth All-Star team
was formally recognized by the Town of Blacksburg for their recent
achievements. Blacksburg Mayor, Ron Rordam, issued a proclamation
recognizing the team's recent success, and presented each player with a
copy by calling out each name. Afterwards, the Mayor and the team went
outside and took a team photo underneath the AAA Dixie Youth State
Championship flag.
