The Blacksburg 13-14 all-star team finished second in the district tournament in
Christiansburg. After winning their first two games, they lost to Pulaski in the
finals of the winners bracket. Blacksburg, Pulaski, and Giles all had one loss.
A random drawing was done and Giles drew the bye. Blacksburg, forced to play without
some of their top pitchers, lost to Pulaski 10-6. Pulaski and Giles will play
a one game series to determine the 13-14 champion and berth into the State Tournament. Blacksburg officially
finishes in a tie for second due to 3 teams having one loss.
